The purpose of this article is to analyze how bureaucratic spaces reproduce discourses, showing that, in terms of gender, they do not correspond to innocuous spaces, given that there are normative representations that provide elements of the ideology of domesticity and maternalization of women transmitted through social discourses, supported by representations such as cinema. It is important here to analyze the representation of the secretary in the film The Assistant in order to characterize the specificities that arise from its construction, based on practices related to the (re)presentation of the body-territory and the deployment in the use of public/private space in the protagonist of the film. Este artigo tem como objetivo destacar o valor epistêmico das emoções na pesquisa, considerando a crítica feminista à relação hierárquica e de poder que tradicionalmente é mantida entre o sujeito e o pesquisador na metodologia qualitativa. Através da experiência de campo e elementos que situam e capacitam os sujeitos, é gerado conhecimento emocionalmente sentido e validado por aqueles que o experimentam. A co-produção de histórias de vida narrativas torna-se um elemento central na análise proposta, proporcionando a oportunidade de compreender as dinâmicas de dominação masculina e os exercícios de poder prevalentes nos relacionamentos íntimos de mulheres que sofreram violência por parte de homens encarcerados, conforme apresentado na experiência de La Chora. A abordagem metodológica e criativa, portanto, torna-se crucial na discussão teórica e metodológica.
