Para comprender si el ENSO es sensible al calentamiento global futuro es necesario realizar reconstrucciones bajo diferentes condiciones climáticas en el pasado. Esto porque los registros instrumentales son muy cortos para evaluar la variabilidad interanual simulada por modelos a escalas de tiempo relevantes para la futura adaptación. A partir de reconstrucciones paleoclimaticas en el Holoceno medio se ha hipotetizado que el ENSO parece ser sensible a las variaciones orbitales en la distribución estacional de energía solar. Sin embargo esto aún es discutido, porque las reconstrucciones muestran mucha variabilidad y el mínimo de actividad de ENSO en el Holoceno no ocurre durante el máximo de contraste estacional de insolación. The Ventanilla Wetlands Regional Conservation Area (ACRHV), is a conservation area, complementary to the natural areas protected by the state, administered by the Regional Government of Callao, Peru through the Regional Management of Natural Resources and Environmental department. It is located in the district of Ventanilla, Callao, Peru; next to this area is the Costa Azul beach and the Laguna “El Mirador Municipal” Ecological Park (LM).
