The agro-export sector in Lima, Peru, is essential to the local economy due to its strategic location and favorable climate. In 2019, global e-commerce grew significantly, representing 30% of world GDP and playing a crucial role in times of crisis by facilitating internationalization and increasing competition, benefiting MSMEs. In Latin American countries, although it continues to grow, it is warned that non-digitized SMEs could lose up to 20% in sales.
