The main objective of this research was to verify that the Program "Techniques of animation to the reading" influences significantly in the improvement of the reading comprehension. The study was carried out with a sample of 31 students of the fifth grade of primary of the Educational Institution. n ° 81007 "Model" -of Trujillo- 2016. The type of applied research was used, using the quasi-perimetal design. As a data collection instrument we used a test questionnaire called "Check What We Learned". The results allow us to confirm that the students of the experimental group have improved significantly in reading comprehension, this is due to their participation in the learning sessions of the program . La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre los estilos de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de primer ciclo de la carrera profesional de educación inicial de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo. Para lo cual se llevó a cabo una investigación de tipo básica y un diseño de investigación correlacionar. Para determinar el tamaño de muestra se hizo uso del muestreo aleatorio simple. La muestra estuvo constituida por 60 Alumnas de la carrera profesional de educación inicial de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo, semestre 2018-20; los instrumentos utilizados CHAEA y las actas de notas con los promedios ponderados de los estudiantes . A través de los resultados se puso en evidencia que si existe relación entre estilos de aprendizaje y rendimiento académico.
