This study employs a quantitative, basic, non-experimental, and correlational explanatory approach to analyze the relationship between household carbon footprints and family environmental behavior in the Masusa area of the Punchana district. The population consisted of approximately 950 households, from which a sample of 98 households was selected using non-probability convenience sampling. These households were located on Rosales Street and the 16 de Febrero, 17 de Octubre, and 23 de Marzo alleyways. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to ensure the participation of informants capable of providing reliable data on energy consumption, transportation use, and waste generation.
