El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre la inteligencia financiera y la inteligencia emocional desde una perspectiva de género en jóvenes universitarios en la ciudad de Chiclayo. El diseño de esta investigación fue descriptivo correlacional, obteniendo información de una muestra de 60 estudiantes universitarios, utilizando el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, por medio de la técnica de la encuesta y usando el cuestionario como instrumento. Dentro de los principales resultados podemos manifestar que, con respecto a los varones, concerniente a la inteligencia financiera un 38% a veces busca producir dinero, y con un 43% a veces usa el apalancamiento del dinero.
