Objective: The present study aimed to determine the level of implementation Internal Control System (ICS) in the Provincial Municipality of Acobamba, Peru, 2019-2022. Materials and methods: The study was of descriptive type, of design non-experimental, and cross-sectional. Having as an object of study to the Provincial Municipality of Acobamba. En el estudio se propuso establecer la relación entre el Sistema de Control Interno (SCI) y la gestión municipal en el distrito de Paucará, Huancavelica 2022. En cuanto a la metodología el estudio fue correlacional, con diseño no experimental y de corte transversal, teniendo como objeto de estudio a la Municipalidad Distrital de Paucará. Para la recopilación de los datos, he utilizado como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, el cual fue aplicado a 70 servidores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Paucará. La idea ha sido demostrar que, entre las variables de análisis existe una relación significativa, de manera que a un SCI óptimo le correspondería una gestión municipal efectiva.
