The intracranial migration of intraocular silicone oil is a rare complication in the treatment of complications of diabetic retinopathy. Several possible etiopathogenic mechanisms have been published to explain this phenomenon of migration. Silicone oil appears hyperdense on tomography, being a challenge to distinguish it from subarachnoid hemorrhage, highlighting the usefulness of magnetic resonance imaging. In patients with evidence of previous silicone retinopexy, the visualization of an intraventricular lesion with a chemical displacement device presents the possibility that it is a migration of the silicone oil. To present the case of a patient with a history of retinopexy with silicone oil and intense headache, identifying the migration of silicone oil in the ventricular system with tomography and resonance studies.

Hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HEH) is a very rare malignant vascular tumor of endothelial origin, of slow progression and low malignity degree. It is more common in women, of unknown etiology. Clinical manifestations of HEH are non-specific, from asymptomatic to abdominal pain. The more frequent radiological features are nodular hepatic lesions, of variable size, which show appearance of "target sign" in computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with capsular retraction. Hepatic metastases are the principal differential diagnosis. The clinical course is variable, with a mortality rate to the diagnosis of up to 50 % of the patients. The therapeutical options include the surgical extirpation (removal) of the tumor and hepatic transplant as the more useful, besides the regional /systemic chemotherapy and immunological treatment. The present case describes th...

0.4% of all primary bone tumors. Due to the rarity of this entity and its similarity with benign lesions, its diagnosis is sometimes delayed. We present the case of a 38-year-old female patient with a painful tumor in the left leg of 2 years of evolution, with radiological and histopathological studies that confirmed the diagnosis in the early stage.

We present a clinical case of bronchoesophageal fistula associated with gastroesophageal reflux in a 76-year oldman with a diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux and hernia. He comes for episodes of cough of 1 year of evolution without response to treatments. We will demonstrate the usefulness of the esophagographic study as a diagnostic element. The clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic aspects and the probably sequence of development of this complication are briefly reviewed.
