El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala Abreviada de Ansiedad Matemática en estudiantes de secundaria (N=416) en un contexto peruano. Los resultados obtenidos en el análisis factorial confirmatorio demostraron adecuados índices de ajustes (RMSEA = .08 [IC90% .06 – .11]; SRMR = .04; CFI=.96; TLI=.94). Además, se encontró que la estructura bidimensional se apoyó mejor en un modelo modificado de dos factores relacionados con ocho ítems. Por otro lado, se analizó que la escala tiene una adecuada validez relacionada con otras variables como autoeficacia académica, depresión, ansiedad y estrés.
