El presente trabajo de tesis fue ejecutado durante el mes de Julio del año 2019 en los distritos de San Pablo y San Pedro de la provincia de Canchis, departamento de Cusco, teniendo un área total de estudio de 1803.96 Ha. En este estudio a) se caracterizó la gestión, manejo y uso de humedal, b) se clasificó el uso de suelo, c) se determinó la producción de biomasa aérea y d) se determinó la capacidad de carga animal a partir de datos espectrales y de campo. La caracterización de la gestión, manejo y uso de humedales fue desarrollada mediante encuestas y fueron procesadas en el programa SPSS. La clasificación de uso de suelo fue desarrollada mediante imágenes capturadas con el dron profesional Matrice 100 e imágenes Landsat 8 OLI que posteriormente fueron procesadas en el software Pix4D y ArcGIS 10.6 del cual se identificó 5 clases de uso de suelo: humedal, agricultura, urb...

The study was carried out in the river wetlands of San Pedro and San Pablo adjacent to the Vilcanota River in the province of Canchis, Cusco, in southern Peru. The objective was to estimate the production of aerial biomass and the animal carrying capacity of these wetlands from the analysis of samples acquired in the field and NDVI orthophotographs. The images were acquired with a Parrot sequoia multispectral camera, transported by a Matrice 100dji Drone and processed in Pix4D and ArcGIS 10.6 software. The study identified 5 types of land use: wetland, agriculture, urbanization, salt and water. The estimated biomass production with field data was 2,359.46 kg/ha and 2,885.78 kg/ha, while the estimate with NDVI orthophotographs was 2,321.71 kg/ha and 3,048.72 Kg/ha for the wetlands of San Pablo and San Pedro respectively.
