The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between Family Functioning and Attachment in school adolescents of a Public Educational Institution in Ate. The study belongs to the descriptive level, of a quantitative type and with a non-experimental, cross-correlational design. The sample was made up of 139 school adolescents, of both sexes, between 12 to 17 years of age, enrolled from the 1st to the 5th year of secondary school. The Epstein, Baldwin, and Bishop Family Assessment Device (FAD), and the Armsden and Greenberg Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), were applied. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre el Funcionamiento Familiar y el Apego en adolescentes escolares de una Institución Educativa Pública de Ate. El estudio pertenece al nivel descriptivo, de tipo cuantitativo y con diseño no experimental, transversal correlacional. La muestra está conformada por 139 adolescentes escolares, de ambos sexos, entre 12 a 17 años de edad, matriculados del 1° al 5°de secundaria. Se aplica la Escala Funcionamiento Familiar (FAD) de Epstein, Baldwin y Bishop, y el Inventario de Apego con madre, padre y pares (IPPA) de Armsden y Greenberg, instrumentos adaptados por la OPS (2013) para poblaciones latinoamericanas.
