La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la actitud hacia el machismo en estudiantes de la facultad de Ingeniería de Minas de la Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú (UNCP). El estudio es de tipo básico, nivel descriptivo, enfoque metodológico cuantitativo; se investigó bajo los lineamientos del método científico y deductivo; con un diseño no experimental-tranversaldescriptivo; la población corresponde a 518 estudiantes de la facultad de Ingeniería de Minas de la UNCP, con una muestra no probabilística de 254 estudiantes de I al X semestre, a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta tipo Escala Likert como es la Escala de Actitudes hacia el machismo adaptada de Bustamante (1990); y se procesó los datos recurriendo al programa estdístico R Studio, para la presentación de resultados se utilizó el programa Excel y se contrastó la hipótesis con la prueba binomia...

Objective. The objective of the research was to analyze, describe and characterize the sexist attitudes in students of the Faculty of Mining Engineering of the Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú (UNCP). The scientific and deductive method was considered; the study is of a basic type, descriptive level, quantitative approach and non-experimental- cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 254 students who, with their informed consent, were administered the Attitudes Toward Machismo Scale. The data was processed with the statistical program R Studio v.1.2.55001.
