Biosphere Reserves are considered learning spaces for sustainable development; in this sense, the objective was to measure sustainable development in the Oxapampa-Asháninka-Yánesha Biosphere Reserve during its first five-year recognition by UNESCO; for this, five districts integrated in the area of the biosphere reserve have been defined as the unit of analysis (Chontabamba, Huancabamba, Oxapampa, Pozuzo and Villa Rica). Based on 111 indicators proposed by the UN and the SDGs, 39 strategic indicators were defined, which were standardized using the Z-score and successively the data grouping by the principal components analysis technique (PCA); for which 12 new instruments have been generated, assigning new labels. The Z-score of the current indicator is converted with the standard normal percentile method with a theoretical value between 0 and 100; to obtain the annual sub-indices (soci...

Knowing the timber economic value standing is an important element to achieve efficient management and pursue sustainable development, emphasizing social welfare. For this reason, the research evaluated four plantations of Eucalyptus globulus Labill, distributed in four annexes of the Daniel Hernández district, belonging to the province of Pampas Tayacaja. A total of 77 individuals were inventoried in four installed strips (one strip per plantation) 50 m long and 2 m wide. Quantitative variables (height and diameter of the trees) and qualitative variables (quality of shaft and age of the trees) were evaluated in order to obtain the timber economic value of the four strips. As a result, it was reported that 18,2 % of the trees are more than 40 cm in diameter and are in a usable situation; However, 79,2 % have stem 2 and 3 qualities, which implies that silvicultural treatments should be p...

The objective of the research was to analyze the feasibility of a cattle manure (Bos taurus) biodigester as a renewable energy source in the district of Ahuaycha. The methodology was applied research, and direct observation was used to determine the manure content and size of the biodigester. The results showed the amount of manure produced by the cows per day, month and year, 1 cow (Bos taurus) produces 4 kg of manure per day, to find the amount of the 12 cows (sample) mathematical operations were performed, which gave a result of 48 kg/day of manure. The biodigester will be tubular and will consist of 4 main parts: the inlet vessel, which serves to introduce the organic matter mixture into the reactor; the biol outlet, which serves to discharge waste from the reactor; and the biogas outlet, which serves to take advantage of the gas accumulated in the biodigester. Therefore, it is concl...

The objective of this article is to restore soil contaminated by dumps through the microorganism Bacillus cereus. The methodology includes 5 samples of soils contaminated by dumps, where experiments will be carried out, which will be mutually contrasted and it will be determined if the bioremediation microorganism is efficient or not for the restoration of contaminated soil. The results show that a bad practice in solid waste management are illegal dumps that cause soil contamination, this problem afflicts the district of Pampas, specifically in the San Cristóbal hill, in the investigation a sample of the hill was analyzed San Cristóbal where the initial pH, temperature and texture is 7.5 pH, 22 C ° and clayey, respectively, through the remediation method with the Bacillus cereus bacterium, the pH changes and drops to 6.6 pH, the temperature also changes to 21 ° and the texture chang...

At present, environmental requirements and the growth of environmental management systems, have generated a change of consciousness at an industrial level, leading this to satisfy the expectations of customers both in the quality of products or services, as well as in the ways environmentally friendly production facilities, the above added to environmental regulations, have generated a change in the production culture in which the enormous losses of raw materials that are discarded into the sewers must be recovered and reincorporated into the production process, resulting in in economic and environmental benefits. In the city of Pampas Tayacaja there is a very latent problem which is the lack of water treatment, which is why most of the population often uses contaminated water in their food thus causing some diseases.
