Los sistemas de salud constituyen un elemento fundamental para garantizar la seguridad sanitaria de la población, por lo que la optimización de los recursos debería ser una prioridad; por tal motivo, se ha planteado como objetivo evaluar la tendencia del cierre de brechas en acceso y cobertura en las dimensiones poblacionales, prestacionales y financieras. Para tal efecto, se ha adoptado un método cuantitativo descriptivo de evolución o tendencia a una muestra de 25 millones de afiliados al Seguro Integral de Salud. Los resultados muestran que el apoyo del Decreto de Urgencia ha permitido un incremento significativo de afiliados a comparación de los años anteriores; otro de los datos sustenta que de cada 2 afiliados, solo 1 accede al servicio de salud. Objective: To analyze the impact of the capital on the health of pregnant women and children under 5 years ofage affiliated to comprehensive health insurance in 3 pilot regions between 2011 and 2014. Methods: Study ofcounterfactual analysis of difference in differences. The pilot regions are Apurímac, Ayacucho and Huancavelica,while Amazonas, Cajamarca and Huánuco are controls. Indicators of acute diarrheal disease, acute respiratoryinfection and anemia in children, and of maternal death avoided in pregnant women were measured, andproduction indicators that include coverage of control of growth and development of the child and prenatalcontrol.
