We present the record of an individual of northern tamandua (Tamandua mexicana) with abnormal white coloration that was photographed with a camera trap in the equatorial dry forest in the department of Lambayeque, at elevation of 560 m, northwest Peru. We could not determine if this chromatic aberration was a case of leucism or albinism, but we highlight this uncommon record as the first for Peru. We also revised the information about its presence in the southern portion of its global range.

El presente estudio sobre Prevalencia de la cervicalgia en pacientes atendidos, Hospital EsSalud Higos Urco, Chachapoyas - 2024. La metodología utilizada fue tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, retrospectivo, transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 63 pacientes diagnosticados con cervicalgia. Se utilizó como técnica la documentación y el instrumento fue la ficha de registro de datos. Se obtuvo como resultado que, la tasa con mayor prevalencia es el grupo de 60 años a más, que fue de 9.6 casos por 1000 atendidos, también los pacientes del género femenino tuvieron una prevalencia mayor de 11.6 casos por 1000 pacientes atendidos, siguiendo con la procedencia chachapoyas y olleros presentan la tasa más alta con 12.6, 10.2 por 1000 pacientes atendidos; además la prevalencia en el índice de masa corporal es mayor en pacientes con sobrepeso con una prevalencia de 7.2 por 1000 at...
