El presente documento es una investigación descriptiva sobre el grafeno y sus posibilidades dentro de la industria de la construcción. Para entrar en contexto, la industria de la construcción es aquella que se encarga de producir, explotar y manipular recursos para construir bienes en las ciudades modernas (edificios, autopistas, veredas, aeropuertos, entre otros). En ella se observan grandes desafíos como la contaminación y el exceso de recursos usados, por lo que buscamos explicar por qué el grafeno es una buena opción para mejorar dicha industria. Dentro de los resultados, se obtuvo que el grafeno es una solución innovadora en la industria de la construcción para reducir el costo de los materiales, la contaminación ambiental mediante el método de obtención FJH y aumentar la eficiencia de la composición de la mezcla de cemento.

This paper shows the results of descriptive research on graphene and its possibilities within the construction industry. To get into context, the construction industry is responsible for producing, exploiting and manipulating resources to build goods in modern cities (buildings, highways, sidewalks, airports, among others). Great challenges such as pollution and the excess of the resources used are observed, so this paper aims to explain why graphene is a good option to improve this industry. Among the results, graphene was found to be an innovative solution in the construction industry to reduce the cost of materials, environmental pollution through the FJH procurement method and increase the efficiency of the cement mix composition.
