La corrupción se ha convertido en un gran problema que no sólo afecta a nuestro país sino a todos los países del mundo; sin embargo en éstos últimos años el grado de corrupción en nuestro país ha tenido un elevado crecimiento, afectando no sólo a las arcas y la recaudación del Estado, sino que también al sector empresarial, en especial al sector de los pequeños y medianos empresarios que tienen a la corrupción como su principal obstáculo la cual les impide competir en iguales condiciones y llevar a cabo un sano desarrollo.

This article contributes to the increase in knowledge and existing theory about the administration of working capital and its relation to profitability. Using a sample of 23 companies listed on the Lima stock exchange during the period 2009-2018. There is a negative relationship between profitability (ROA) and the average inventory period (PPI), in the same way a negative relationship between profitability and the average collection period (PPC), finally a positive relationship between profitability and the period average payment (PPP).
