Se realizó la presente investigación cuyo objetivo fue comparar el costo efectividad de una consulta por telemedicina y convencional. Estudio descriptivo, comparativo y de diseño no experimental de corte transversal, con una muestra de 70 pacientes: 35 atendidos por telemedicina y 35 de manera convencional, con un muestreo no probabilístico. Resultados: El costo promedio de la consulta convencional es de 41.69 ± 3.376 y en telemedicina es 38.69 ± 3.037 (p: 0.0002). 62.9% son varones; 65.7%tiene ≥60 años; 88.6% tiene más de 5 años de enfermedad; 80% recibe tratamiento oral y 15.7% subcutánea (insulina); 81.4% no reciben control médico; 72.9% presentan comorbilidad; 82.9% presenta la ulcera anatómica en el antepié.
