El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre felicidad y síndrome de burnout en profesionales de salud en un hospital nacional de Lima Metropolitana en tiempo de pandemia. Para ello, se tuvo una muestra de 102 profesionales de la salud de un Hospital Nacional ubicado en Lima Metropolitana. Asimismo, la investigación de desarrolló bajo un tipo de investigación básica, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y tipo correlacional. Como instrumentos se utilizó la Escala de Felicidad de Lima (EFL) y el Inventario de burnout de Maslach (MBI). The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between happiness and burnout syndrome in health professionals in a national hospital in Metropolitan Lima during a pandemic. For this purpose, a sample of 102 health professionals from a National Hospital located in Metropolitan Lima was used. Likewise, the research was developed under a basic research type, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The Lima Happiness Scale (EFL) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) were used as instruments. The research aimed to establish the differences in the emotional intelligence of students in the first cycle of a private university. The Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory was applied to a sample consisting of 1,940 male and female subjects from 16 to 25 years old. Crossover design was used with a significance level of 0.05 (p <0.05) and found no statistically significant difference regarding sex between the following components: interpersonal component, stress management and general mood. There are differences regarding the type of school in total emotional quotient, intrapersonal component, adaptability, stress management, the subcomponents of self-knowledge, assertiveness, self-concept, self-realization, social responsibility, problem solving, reality testing, flexibility, stress management, impulse control and optimism.
