The objective of this article is to design a procedure to manage the production system, considering the main technical-organizational and political-economic requirements of the process, as well as its key factors and essential elements. An exhaustive analysis of the consulted methodologies was carried out using selection variables. It was concluded that the proposed procedure improves production planning, organization and control in food companies.  

The research focuses on a systematic review of the scientific production on “Technological Capabilities as Competitive Advantages”. It uses a methodology based on a bibliometric study of international databases such as Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet and DOAJ. The results reveal that this area is relatively young but growing in importance. It is noteworthy that most of the researchers come from Mexico and Spain, reflecting a particular interest in these regions. Seven different approaches are identified, demonstrating diversity in research perspectives, and tools such as VOSviewer and Excel are used for rigorous and scientific analysis.

This study was carried out at the Unidad Empresarial de Base (UEB) of Muebles Ludema in Las Tunas, Cuba. Its objective was to apply a planning procedure to the company's production capacities of hotel room furniture. Research was carried out using direct observation, historical-logical, hypothetical-deductive, and analysis-synthesis methods, observation techniques, documentary review, timing of operations, and sampling by instantaneous observations to collect as much information as possible. The research revealed that the factory's productive capacities are insufficient to face current demands, so the company should determine each productive activity's capacity to achieve better production results.

The objective of this research was to design a procedure to plan the production capacity of a company. In order to develop the research, the direct observation, historical-logical, hypothetico-deductive and analytic-synthetic methods, as well as observation techniques, document reviews and surveys, were used. In addition, the Delphi method was applied to validate the procedure. The integration of positive aspects from eight of the consulted procedures and the inclusion of other aspects not addressed in the research were achieved. Moreover, production capacity planning is shown as a continuous improvement process.
