La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de uso de los materiales educativos en matemática en estudiantes de primaria de una institución educativa de la UGEL 01 del distrito de Villa María del Triunfo, 2024. Respecto a la metodología se consideró el enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, de diseño no experimental, en cuanto a la población muestral fue de 23 docentes de la institución educativa de la UGEL 01, pues al ser una población pequeña se trabajó con el 100% de la población, para el recojo de los datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y su instrumento el cuestionario, validados por 3 expertos y midiendo su confiabilidad interna a través del Alpha de Cronbach. The primary school student must develop the ability to solve mathematical problems and this implies having pedagogical methods oriented to that goal. The Singapore Method, to promote skills in solving mathematical problems, is based on the CPA (Concrete - Pictorial - Abstract) approach. This method is showing to be effective, since Singapore, by including it in its Mathematics Curriculum, has managed to be among the first positions in the international education ranking PISA (2012). It is an application of pedagogy of mathematics based on research and the pedagogical proposals of Jerome Bruner, Dienes and Skemp, where students, to learn mathematics, progress from the concrete to the pictorial to finally generate abstract representations.
