Describe el tratamiento de una maloclusión de clase I con apiñamiento severo, en el cual se realizaron exodoncias de primeras premolares superiores, el tipo de anclaje utilizado fue máximo, con bandas soldadas a un arco transpalatino y un botón de Nance. Para la arcada inferior se realizaron exodoncias de segundas premolares, ya que ambas coronas presentaban forma atípica. Asimismo, debido a las condiciones que presentaba la paciente, se extrajeron las segundas premolares inferiores, teniendo en cuenta la desventaja de la extracción de la segunda premolar, el manejo del anclaje fue crítico. A pesar de ello se lograron los objetivos, los cuales citaron una mecánica más compleja.

The present report describe the case of an 11-year-old female patient, treated at the Dental Center at School of Dentistry at the University San Martin de Porres, who underwent a treatment of class I malocclusion with severe crowding with asymmetric extractions. This case was selected by several factors including the complexity of the mechanics used, the type of malocclusion, anchorage managment and collaboration by the patient. The apparatus used and the protocol used are described. Finally, the results obtained at the end of the treatment are shown
