The study of foreign policy business is an area that allows us to develop a comparative history and to know how they operate the various branches of government. Peruvian industrial fishing had two phases, according to the most exploited species, the first stage was dominated by the bonito (1936-1955) and the second is the time of the anchovy (1955-2010). The study of women as professional health sciences between 1930 and 1950 allows us to understand the process of modernization in Peru. In these decades the UNMSM was the main university, the professions were offered medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and obstetrics. The students of pharmacy and biochemist, faculty in 1943, were predominantly female. In the work environment of the 1940s and 1950s these woman were able to work independently and began working at the university and be known scientific authors. This autonomy is not a change to the traditional role but his claim.

In the XX century the foreign policy of Peru was characterized for its Panamericanism conservative for which reason in the context of Cold War Peru held a close relationship with U.S.A. The foreign policy of Peru was favorable to conservative and authoritarian government of Franco in Spain (1936-1975). The government of Velasco (1968-1975) changed the traditional foreign policy and developed an autonomous foreign policy to USA which did not affect its relationship with Spain but increased it and thus Peru and Spain signed several agreements of technical and cultural cooperation.
