The study was carried out around Lake Moronacocha, District of Iquitos, with the purpose of identifying the environmental impact and the health of the surrounding population caused by urban effluents that are discharged into Lake Moronacocha in Iquitos. It is a non-experimental quantitative research of the exploratory type - descriptive, analytical, transversal. With a finite sample made up of 48 families that live near the mouth of the urban effluents of the city of Iquitos. For collection, on-site observations and structured interviews were used, with instrument reliability, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.677, of acceptable consistency.
