La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal elaborar un plan agregado para reducir costos de producción. Se realizó los pronósticos históricos para determinar su grado de acierto con respecto a las ventas reales brindados por la empresa. Se desarrolló pronósticos con regresión lineal e indice estacional, utilizando la señal de rastreo de los pronósticos, incluyendo los históricos, se evaluó cuál era la técnica estadística que mayor grado de acierto lograba al predecir el comportamiento de la demanda. Se elaboraron planes agregados con estrategias de persecución, nivelación, subcontratación y uso de tiempos extras, donde se utilizó el programa Microsoft Excel 2017 buscando la optimización económica de los planes agregados propuestos, dándo como mejor plan agregado el tiempo extra. Considering this, the research in the company Komatsu Machinery Peru S.A., it was an analysis of the current status of the equipment and determine the relationship between preventive maintenance management through its indicators and availability. Performed the analysis, the correlation coeffi cient is 79,1 %. This indicates that there is a regular degree of relationship between the variables availability MTBF and MTTR.
