Propósitos del manual: Sistematizar criterios y metodologías en la enseñanza universitaria, dentro de una tónica de actualización, mejoramiento y experimentación. Proporcionar material de estudio relevante para la conducción del aprendizaje en el nivel universitario. Proponer a los docentes universitarios la aplicación de los avances de la tecnología educativa, que permita mejorar el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje a nivel superior. Incentivar en el profesor universitario la búsqueda de mejores metodologías y la sensibilidad ante las innovaciones educativas. Proporcionar al profesorado universitario un elemento de consulta y orientación, con un balance entre la teoría y la práctica, para mejorar su labor docente.
