Objetivo: El propósito de este estudio fue evaluar la influencia de los niveles de pH de tres geles de blanqueamiento de consultorio en la rugosidad superficial del esmalte bovino, después del protocolo del blanqueamiento. Materiales y métodos: Se obtuvo 36 muestras de esmalte bovino, las cuales fueron cortadas y divididas en tres grupos (n=12): peróxido de hidrógeno 40% (Opalescence Boost 40%), peróxido de hidrógeno 35% (Whiteness HP AutoMixx) y peróxido de hidrógeno 35% (Whiteness HP Blue), recibiendo una aplicación de 40 minutos de blanqueamiento. The purpose of this study in vitro was to evaluate the tensille strength of adhesive system to the surface of bleached enamel with 10% carbamide peroxide with and without fluoride. We used nine healtly third molars, divided into three groups: Control (unbleached), group I (bleached with 10% Opalescence), group II (bleached with 10% Opalescence PF). Bleaching groups had a period of bleaching of 6 hours per day at 37°C, during 14 consecutive days; the teeth during this period were stored in artificial saliva. We waited 7 days to put a resin block (Filtek Z350,3M) of 5x5x3mm (w,l,h) on the buccal, palate or lingual surface of each tooth, previously we used 35% phosphoric acid (Scothbond, 3M) and an adhesive system (Single Bond 2, 3M). El objetivo del presente estudio in Vitro fue evaluar la fuerza de adhesión de un sistema adhesivo a la superficie del esmalte blanqueado con peróxido de carbamida al 10% con flúor y sin flúor Se utilizaron 9 terceras molares sanas, las cuales fueron divididas en 3 grupos: control (no blanqueado), grupo I (blanqueado con Opalescence 10%), grupo II (blanqueado con Opalescence PF 10%). Los grupos blanqueados tuvieron un periodo de blanqueamiento de 6horas por día a temperatura 37°C durante 14 días consecutivos y fueron almacenados en saliva artificial.

Introduction: Photodynamic therapy consists of the application of a light with an adequate wavelength on the cavities prior to the application of a photosensitizing agent, with the purpose of eliminating remnants of microorganisms remaining after instrumentation. Objective: Evaluate the adhesive resistance to dentin treated with 2% chlorhexidine and photodynamic therapy with a 660nm diode prior to the insertion of composite resin. Materials and Methods: In this in vitro experimental study, 60 bovine mandibular incisors were collected, after dentin wear, the samples were divided into 3 groups, with 20 samples per group: control group (no therapy was applied), 2% chlorhexidine, and 660nm diode laser (photosensitizer: methylene blue). Objective: To determine the esthetic perception of the smile according to gingival exposure in undergraduate university students of dentistry and other degrees of different ages and sex in Lima, Peru 2020, and descriptively evaluate the main variables such as age and sex. Methodology: A woman's smile was photographed following esthetic parameters, digitally modifying gingival exposure and obtaining six digital images. The images were rated by 512 students of dentistry and other degrees by means of a virtual survey using the Visual Analog Scale (values 0 to 10). Results: The students perceived the 0.5 mm gingival exposure smile as more attractive and the 2.5 mm gingival exposure smile as unattractive.
