This research analyzes the relationship between public spending and economic growth in the Ucayali region during the 2007-2023 period, using a quantitative, non-experimental, and correlational design approach. Data from official sources were employed, and statistical methods, such as the Spearman correlation coefficient, were used to evaluate the relationship between variables. The results revealed a positive and significant correlation between public spending and economic growth, with a stronger impact from investments made by local governments and non-financial public spending. While investments by the national government showed a moderate positive relationship, local investments demonstrated a more immediate effect, highlighting the importance of decentralized planning.
