El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo general explorar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Aburrimiento en adolescentes de Lima metropolitana. Fue de tipo de instrumental, y de diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra final estuvo representada por 500 adolescentes, en un rango de 12 a 17 años de edad. El instrumento aplicado fue la Escala de Aburrimiento en Adolescentes (EsAb), desarrollada por Gonzáles et al. (2021) en México. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que en el análisis factorial confirmatorio (AFC) se evidenció un buen ajuste del modelo, con un χ²/gl de 1.92 y valores adecuados en los índices de ajuste: CFI = .988, TLI = .981, SRMR = .0334 y RMSEA = .043, todos dentro de los rangos aceptables, lo que confirma su validez estructural. Objetivos: Determinar niveles de depresión en adultos mayores de Lima Metropolitana, marzo a junio 2012. Diseño: Descriptivo, transversal Institución: Instituto de Ética en Salud, Facultad Medicina, UNMSM. Participantes: Adultos mayores. Intervenciones: A 303 adultos mayores se efectuó análisis de datos, con aplicación de cuestionario estructurado. Since neuropsychiatric disorders are now the first component of disease burden in Peru, translating this into high prevalence rates for these conditions; and considering that - paradoxically - the Government has not assumed its responsibility, there is a need for proposing a reform of mental health management considering these fundamental aspects: 1) The Ministry of Health must assume its responsibility prioritizing mental health as a public health policy, creating a General Direction for Mental Health; 2) Psychiatric care must be restructured, joining forces with primary health care within the local health systems so that alternative community-centered models may be promoted within their social scope; 3) Personal dignity and human rights of every subject must be preserved; 4) Modernization of the current psychiatric institutions, changing their current hegemonic role to a superspecializ...
