La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la bioconversión de residuos orgánicos provenientes del sector frutas del mercado mayorista Moshoqueque, utilizando la larva de Hermetia illucens. Fue de tipo aplicada y cuantitativa, con diseño experimental. La muestra fue de 10 kg de residuos orgánicos provenientes del sector frutas del mercado mayorista Moshoqueque, con muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Los resultados para el proceso de bioconversión fueron que de 2.25 gr de huevos de larvas de Hermetia illucens se obtuvieron 18 821 larvas para ingresar al biorreactor con los residuos mediante el sistema de alimentación continua; asimismo, en las características físicas al decimoquinto día la larva pesaba 0.22 gr y tenía una longitud de 2.1 cm.
