The objective was to determine the relationship between predisposing factors and the onset of alcohol consumption in adolescents from the Simón Bolívar Human Settlement, Iquitos 2022. The study was quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional; The population consisted of 100 adolescents of both sexes. The interview technique was used and the instruments were: a questionnaire with validity (93.88%) and the Rosemberg self-esteem scale (reliability 80%).
