The fundamental purpose of the current investigation work was to obtain a description of how the teacher percibes his professional ethic and how this relates with his labour performance. This issue is trascendental as we are in a time in which it is said the values have been lost. For instance, we are looking foward to propiciate that these can be retaken at the classroom so the students, when they graduate, are comitted people not only with their professional tasks but also with their environment: their community, country and the planet itself and in this aspect, the ethic and the professional tasks of the teacher are fundamental. The progresses in neurosciences of the education put into spotlight the great importance that the human brain has to develop in order to obtain its full operation and make it highly productive. This development of the brain must start in the family and continued actively in the school as one of the main task and the responsible of this work is the teacher that is why the development of investigations and the creation of programmes that capacitate the teacher are task that cannot be postponed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the casual relations that can exist between some psychological variables (Personality Type A, Stress facing and Burnout Syndrome) and the labour performance of university teachers from five faculties of medicine of Lima Metropolitana. The instruments used were: Blumenthal’s inventory of auto report of behaviour type A, COPE, Maslasch’s Burnout inventory and the teacher’s labour performance made by Manuel Fernández Arata. All these instruments were subjected to the respective analysis in order to determinate their validity and reliability. The sample was constituted by 150 doctors teachers to whom the questionnaires were applied.
