El estudio se realizó en las instalaciones del Centro de Enseñanza e Investigación “Jardín Agrostológico” en el fundo Zungarococha de propiedad de la Facultad de Agronomía de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonia Peruana, sito en el Km 5.8 de la Carretera Iquitos Nauta.
