It was determined the effect of Lecanicillium lecanii (Zimm) and Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) On the phytophagous mite Panonychus citri. For this, the breeding of P. citri was carried out, and it was propagated to both fungi in potato sucrose agar. Five treatments were performed with three replicates each; each treatment had 30 specimens between nymphs and adults of P. citri and the technique of inoculation was by spray. At the first treatment, 0.1% tween 80 was inoculated; at the second and third treatments, L. lecanii were applied at concentrations of 106 and 107 conidia / mL respectively; and at the fourth and fifth treatments, B. bassiana was applied at 106 and 107 conidia / mL respectively, and the specimens were incubated at room temperature until symptoms appeared to be slow moving, tegument darkening, dehydration and death. Dead mites were placed in a humid chamber until the appear...

The effect of the 1200 and 1800 ppm concentrations of the insecticide metamidofos on the germination, growth and entomopathogenic activity of Beauveria bassiana was determined. The effect on B. bassiana germination was determined by placing 2mL of each insecticide concentration in small flasks, adding 2mL of the conidia suspension, to obtain a final concentration of 1x105 conidia/mL It was incubated at temperature of 25 ° C for 24 hours, then counted germinated conidia. For growth, the insecticide was incorporated into potato dextrose agar, and served in Petri dishes, as well as a control plate containing only culture medium, by puncturing in the central part of each Petri dish according to its corresponding concentration of each insecticide and the control, incubating at 25 ° C for 7 days. For the entomopathogenic activity S. frugiperda larvae were inoculated with the fungus grown in ...

It was determined whether Trichoderma harzianum was capable of degrading the insecticide alphacipermethrin. T. harzianum was seeded in Papa Dextrose Agar and incubated for 7 days, then petri dishes were prepared with minimal gar of salts containing concentrations of 0, 75, 100 and 150 ppm of alphacipermethrin respectively, in which were seeded mycelium of the fungus was incubated at 25 °C for 3 days, radial growth being evaluated daily. The degradation of alphacipermethrin in broth was also evaluated for which 8 mL of a suspension of 106 spores / mL of T. harzianum were inoculated into flasks containing minimal broth of salts with 0, 75, 100 and 150 ppm of alpha- 10 days. The broth was then filtered and the obtained mycelium was oven dried and weighed. The broth remaining after the filtrate was analyzed by thin layer chromatography to detect whether there was or was no presence of alpha...

The adsorption capacity of copper ion and lead acid by Trichoderma asperellum was determined from ideal solutions of copper and lead (II) sulphate, respectively. Fungal biomass was obtained by cultivating T. viride FP-UNT 01 in aerated bioreactors with potato dextrose serum, which was washed with 0.1N nitric acid (HNO3); The pellets formed were oven dried at 60 ° C for 24 hours. 8g of pellets were placed in a four column system through which a solution of cupric ion at 19ppm and of lead acid at 40ppm concentration respectively was passed. The samples were analyzed by mass spectrometry and the data obtained were analyzed using the Student’s t-test for paired samples. It was found that T. asperellum is capable of adsorbing cupric ion up to 9.1% and plumbous ion up to 24.3% for 6 hours of evaluation. It was concluded that T. asperellum is able to adsorb plumbous ion and cupric ion, being...

A total of 26 native strains of Trichoderma were isolated from soil samples growing asparagus (located in the Agroindustrial company Camposol SA, Chao, Peru) and 6 strains were selected based on their growth rate and number of spores, within you strain were identified Trichoderma asperellum, Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma atroviride, these presented controlling activity Meloidogyne sp. both in vitro and under greenhouse conditions. These strains were isolated Pope Sucrose Agar (APS) incubated at 25 0.1 ° C for 7 days. In vitro tests were performed on water agar (AA) 1.5%, while in greenhouse tests nine treatments (T) with isolates were performed. Of the nine treatments, there are three control groups, at the T1 was inoculated only Meloidogyne sp. in another T2 it was not inoculated with Meloidogyne sp. and T3 Oxamyl (990ppm) was inoculated. While the other treatments ...
