The present research work is a descriptive study. We investigated the nutritional status and its relationship with the socioeconomic level of the adults attended in the health center "El Trópico- Huanchaco". The population consisted of 59 people between 18 and 82 years of age. The nutritional status was determined by Waterlow Anthropometric Indicators such as Weight / Height and Height / Age ratio, Waist / hip ratio, Body Mass Index, Body fat percentage and Protein reserve. According to the study, according to Waterlow's anthropometric indicators, 54% presented obesity, 44% normal status and 2% acute malnutrition.
