Se presenta una innovación pedagógica enfocada en el conocimiento de la flora nativa que crece alrededor de la escuela de El Tayán en la comuna de Monte Patria, región de Coquimbo, Chile. Recycling is an environmental practice aimed at the reuse of solid waste that has completed a life cycle and that, due to the formation of microbasurales, requires to be reused in order to reduce the amount of waste in the environment. Considering the relevance of this theme, this article has been prepared that aims to know and describe this educational experience around recycling in the rural school of Chilecito, located in the municipality of Monte Patria, Region of Coquimbo, Chile. A proposal is presented to create an environmental trail in the Mostazal sector, Monte Patria commune, Limari province, Coquimbo Region, Chile. The objective of the work is to develop an environmental trail for the conservation of native plants that exist in the place.The methodological sequence on which the work was organized included the collection of background of the cartography of the study area through the use of the computer program (Google Earth, 2020), sources such as the guide for the design and operation of trails are consulted. The objective of this article was to analyze the natural environment of the pastures of El Rincón, in the province of Limarí, where a community of wild birds lives. The methodology used included field work with direct observation, application of recording sheets for the sighted individuals, creation of cartography with the ArcMap 10.1 program, taking photographs, and making illustrations of birds using Giotto pencils, block, charcoal pencil, eraser. common and moldable rubber.
