This study is descriptive, retrospective cross whose aim was to determine the profile of ceftriaxone 1g consumption during the years 2006 and 2007 at the Hospital Lazarte Victor Echegaray. The results indicate that the service of Medicine is the largest consumer of ceftriaxone 1 g expressed DDD/100 beds in the day, had during the years 2006 and 2007, can also be observed that there was a lower consumption of ceftriaxone 1 g during the year 2007 in comparison with the year 2006. By making use of the graphical trend of consumption shows that the services of Medicine, Surgery, NICU are the biggest trend of consumption of ceftriaxone have in the future. Se evaluó si la aplicación de Trastuzumab por vía endovenosa induce mayor cardiotoxicidad que la vía subcutánea en pacientes con cáncer de mama, atendidos en el Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas del Norte. El estudio fue descriptivo, longitudinal, de cohorte retrospectiva. Se trabajó con 58 pacientes mayores de 18 años diagnosticados con cáncer de mama HER2 positivo (29 pacientes con administración de trastuzumab vía endovenosa y 29 por vía subcutánea). Se empleó la prueba estadística del Chi cuadrado, con un valor de 0.293 [intervalo de confianza del 95%: 0.46 a 3.88], OR 1.34, RR 0.95.
