The tourist experience is not just about visiting a new place; it involves encountering different cultures, meeting new people, and interacting with natural environments, which can profoundly impact travellers and the tourist destinations they visit. In this study, we aimed to determine how the tourist experience can promote sustainable tourism in the Lachay National Reserve (LNR). Using a qualitative, phenomenological approach, we identified five professionals with expertise in developing tourist experiences through snowball sampling. We then conducted semi-structured interviews using an interview guide.
