La Victoria, located in the central area of ​​Lima, is a historic and traditional district, with a very rich culture and diversity, but with quite complex social problems that detract from its value. La Victoria Community and Cultural Center was born as a response to these problems and needs of the community, with the main objective of promoting social identity and the sense of belonging. The project is fully justified in all its aspects and levels, showing coherence with the context where it is located, with the people it serves and the needs it seeks to satisfy, providing an architecture rooted in the geographical and cultural context. A inicios del 2019, se tomó la iniciativa de realizar la transferencia de funciones de Bibliotecólogas a Asistentes y Auxiliares en el Centro de Información Villa, debido a las nuevas responsabilidades que estaban asumiendo los Bibliotecólogos de Programa Académico (BPA) y a los cambios que los orientaban a tener un rol más participativo en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, lejos de la atención en el front office. Esta iniciativa contó con un plan de trabajo, que tuvo como objetivos: cubrir la atención en todos los ambientes del Centro de Información y fortalecer las competencias de los Asistentes y Auxiliares, quienes serían los responsables de la operación y de brindar atención en el front office a los usuarios (estudiantes, docentes y administrativos).
