Following the spirit of reflection of the patriarch of Peruvian literature, this presentation will analyze the social inequality in the Tradiciones peruanas, through the interpretation of the phrases and thoughts that Ricardo Palma includes in his writings. It also intends to contextualize this topic with the social reality of our times, in order to understand the history of our problems and from there write a new path of freedom and social justice.

Far from continuing to sow the seeds of doubt and fear, it is necessary to begin to see uncertainty as an ally in decision-making. We need to recover the progress made and take action on what are really significant problems for our country: health and education. To date, more than 174,000 young Peruvians have failed in their academic path to university life. Three million Peruvians who will be part of the 30% of their compatriots living in poverty. It is then that the message of youth, the voice of hope and encouragement, becomes imperative, but that this does not mean denying reality or leaving it to others to interpret our own reality.

Introducción: A nivel mundial, el cáncer de mama es la neoplasia más frecuente en mujeres, y la segunda en nuestro país como principal causa de muerte. Por ello que la necesidad de evaluar el pronóstico, a través de métodos más certeros y accesibles se convierte en requisito indispensable dentro del cuidado de la salud pública. Este estudio propone el uso del índice neutrófilo/linfocito, obtenidas de un hemograma basal entre las pacientes atendidas en el Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue como metodología sencilla, rápida y no invasiva para el estudio de sobrevida global.
