This research work was carried out in the Loreto region, in order to know what is the current status of the production of wood in logs of the forest concessions and permits within the framework of the Forestry Law 29763. The type of this investigation was exploratory. According to the obtained results, it can be indicated that the number of qualifying titles in the case of forest concessions among 2017 to 2021 was 138 and 757 forest permits. The production of logs in the last 17 years among 2004 and 2015 where the production level is 6 116 125 m3 between concessions and permits and among 2016 and 2021 the production only reached 1 908 110,04 m3.
