Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze the engagement and academic performance of university students enrolled in the Health Management course during the year 2023. Material and methods: This research employed a correlational non-experimental design. The study population consisted of students from the Professional School of Obstetrics who were enrolled in the Health Management course. Intentional non-probabilistic sampling was utilized. Data collection was conducted using the "Student Engagement Questionnaire," which comprises 35 questions across five dimensions, with responses measured using a Likert scale. The questionnaire demonstrates a reliability coefficient ranging between 0.70 and 0.93. Academic performance was assessed based on the final grade average using the vigesimal scale.
