Depression is a disease that has a higher incidence in older adults. The objective is to "determine the effects of virtual physical activity on depression in older adults during the pandemic". The method used was an analytical deductive approach, with a pre-experimental pre-test and post-test design in a single sample of 22 older adults. The results showed a low level of anxiety in the pre-test at 4.5%, which increased to 31.8% in the post-test. A similar pattern was observed for depression, with a low level of 9.1% in the pre-test and 36.4% in the post-test. It was concluded that virtual physical activity has significant effects in reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression in older adults.

The Andean worldview could serve as the cornerstone for Peruvian education, as it possesses characteristics vastly different from the Eurocentric conception regarding how to perceive the world, nature, and interact with others. Principles of balance and harmony are ingrained within human actions in both the natural and spiritual habitat. Andean cosmovision upholds harmony with the environment, fostering a mindset of reciprocity, concordance, andcomplementarity with a relationship of respect between humans and nature. Concepts like allin kawsay (living well) and ayni (mutual aid) would constitute the basic principles of Peruvian intercultural education. Intercultural education must respect ethno-cultural diversity, thereby providing development opportunities for all inhabitants.

The physical education career has been undervalued socially, which can affect professional self-esteem. Professional self-esteem refers to a set of perceptions, feelings, thoughts, and tendencies directed towards professional practice. The aim of this study was to establish the relationship between physical activity and professional self-esteem in physical education students at UNSCH. A quantitative correlational design was employed, using the IPAQ to assess the level of physical activity and a previously validated questionnaire on professional self-esteem, which demonstrated objectivity and reliability with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.960. In Latin America, epistemological knowledge and approaches come from an external, hegemonic power group. Decolonizing education requires an insurgency against Eurocentric knowledge and ideology, considering aspects inherent to Andean worldview and ancestral culture; rewriting and reconstructing our epistemological bases towardsteacher training to achieve positive educational content and form. Decolonization enables the attainment of a society with fewer inequality gaps. In Peruvian education and that of other Latin American countries, the influence of dominant Westernism is evident, hindering the emergence of epistemologies that could strengthen education. It is crucial to respect the plurality of Southern epistemologies and educational complexity. The reconstruction of Andean epistemology is a path towards the decolonization of Peruvian education.

The objective of this work is to understand and reflect upon Abya Yala and the Andean worldview, which underwent a cultural development different from the Western one, interrupted by the Spanish invasion that imposed its language,customs and god. The term Abya Yala is designated to the American continent by the Kuna people, accepted by the organization of indigenous peoples, and carries the meaning of "Land in full maturity” or “Land of vital blood." The worldview of these peoples was marked by the  conservation of nature, as they considered themselves part of it.
