RESUMEN Según investigaciones, en un estudio de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), se estima que la población mundial urbana se duplicará, prediciendo que hacia 2030 el 60% de la población mundial vivirá en ciudades. Sumando un cambio climático que avanza ilimitadamente, es por lo que urge la necesidad de implementar estrategias de mitigación para atenuar el impacto y mejorar la calidad de vida.
