Currently, most companies have an induction process whenever they hire a new employee. This implies a constant expense, but for some companies, the induction process only consists of assigning one of the company's internal workers to be in charge of the new worker and teach him the functions that correspond to him; this usually causes the new worker to have a poor performance in the first month of work. This research aims to design a mobile application to improve the induction process and therefore improve the performance of new workers from the first month of work. El objetivo del estudio era determinar como un sistema experto mejora la orientación vocacional en una institución educativa limeña, para utilizar las tecnologías actuales como herramientas en la elección de una carrera profesional. El estudio fue cuantitativo, con un diseño pre-experimental de tipo aplicada. Se analizaron 30 registros del test vocacional del sistema experto en 4 días de ejecución que, según los datos obtenidos en el pre-test y post-test de los indicadores de evaluación del estudio, se utilizó la prueba de normalidad de Shapiro-Wilk, demostrando que los valores fueron no paramétricos. Posteriormente, con la prueba de rangos con signo de Wilcoxon, se contrastaron las hipótesis para determinar la aceptación de todo lo planteado en el presente estudio.
