Se examina la conexión entre la escuela nueva y la antropología aplicada a través del pragmatismo clásico estadounidense, así como sus efectos en las reflexiones sobre el problema del indio, la difusión de métodos de la escuela nueva y las propuestas para la educación rural en el Perú. La nueva educación, o escuela nueva, es una tendencia que fue entendida como una propuesta para implementar la educación popular —e incluso la educación universitaria—, inculando la educación con la comunidad, su historia y geografía.La bibliografía revisada pone énfasis en el desarrollo de la ciudadanía a través de la educación, sobre todo en el ámbito rural. Considera un texto sobre las mutuas influencias entre Boas y Dewey, así como la reflexión sobre la educación del indio a través de doce autores peruanos. A través de este estudio se pretende conocer la experiencia del grupo limeño Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Esta experiencia es una respuesta de algunos sectores medios ante la crisis de la última década (1980-90). Se han enfatizado los siguientes aspectos sobre el grupo: su constitución, su concepto de sanación y doctrina de salvación, el arraigo de su propuesta religiosa y el rol que han jugado profesionales de la clase media en él.

We wonder how it was possible for the Matico Command to achieve such a quick and effective response in a context of confusion and fear of death. We propose to understand the way in which Comando Matico managed to manage the pandemic crisis, as an instance of cultural and political affirmation from which they updated ancestral knowledge, through their collective and organized action, in the care of Shipibo-Konibo patients with COVID-19 and comorbidities. Since May 15, 2020, they established a type of strategic indigenous health response, to achieve the acceptance of both, the population served and the DIRESA-U and the GOREU, especially during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. We collected information through interviews with members of the Comando Matico, from its official Facebook page, and from interviews with third parties. The Qualitative Consistency Matrix (MCC) is proposed as a methodological instrument that makes it possible to systematize, analyze and understand the procedures and advances of research involving phenomena, events, situations and subjects that differ in their nature and structure from those objects and topics addressed via a quantitative approach, in contrast to the design, structuring and operationalization of variables in order to validate the relevance and feasibility of a research project, which is summarized in the verification and development of the Quantitative Consistency Matrix (MCC), or deductive logical matrix.
