La vivienda social en Lima es un problema que sucede en todo el Perú, esto se debe a la falta de planeamiento urbano y por la ausencia de otorgar soluciones, dificultando que personas con bajos recursos accedan a un lugar para vivir a un precio módico. Por tal motivo, se tiene como objetivo proponer un proyecto denominado “Conjunto de vivienda multifamiliar de carácter social en el distrito de Villa El Salvador” como solución al problema mediante la cual se recopilaron datos actuales del distrito y de la zona donde se ubica el terreno, ya sean demográficos, urbanos, socioeconómicos, entre otros.
