The Cultural Center of Spain in Lima is one of the most dynamic and innovative institutions in the city. Since its creation, it has been continuously working to boost the cultural sector, providing not only a varied program, but also offering training programs that reinforce the potential of citizens. El turismo es una actividad que puede mejorar la calidad de vida de una comunidad generando su desarrollo social y económico, por este motivo la presente investigación busca identificar las potencialidades del distrito de Végueta ubicado al norte del departamento de Lima; asimismo se propone un circuito turístico que incluya sus principales atractivos, que permita dar a conocer parte del vasto patrimonio que caracteriza al Perú. The process of revaluing the built heritage of the Huaca San Borja, located within the metropolitan area of the capital of Peru, Lima, ran from 1986 to 2016. During these years and due to changes in government, and thence, in the orientation of public institutions, the management processes initiated after various agreements did not comply with placing this important heritage into social use, and today, construction work for its revaluation is still happening. On the other hand, in the different stages of the process, the local neighbors’ participation was not contemplated.
