This study aimed to determine the relationship between oral health–related quality of life, dental caries, and oral hygiene among students from the Special Basic Education Center of Iquitos in 2025. The research employed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The findings showed no statistically significant relationship between oral health–related quality of life and the CPOD/ceod or IHOS indices (p > 0.05). A total of 65.8% of students presented a medium quality of life and 34.2% a high quality of life. Additionally, the type of disability showed a significant association with oral hygiene levels (IHOS) and dental caries experience (CPOD+ceod), indicating that disability-specific characteristics influence these oral health indicators.
