Objetivo: Fue determinar empatía en enfermeras del servicio de emergencia y hospitalización de la Clínica Providencia, San Miguel – 2020. Material y método: El enfoque asumido en el estudio es el cuantitativo y el diseño metodológico el descriptivo-transversal. La población con la que se contó fue de 102 participantes. En el proceso de recolección de datos se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento de medición la Escala de Empatía Médica de Jefferson (EEMJ), que presenta 20 ítems y 3 dimensiones. Resultados: En cuanto a la empatía en los enfermeros, predominó el nivel bajo con 26,5% (27 participantes), seguido de nivel moderado alto con 25,5% (26 participantes), moderado bajo con 24,5% (25 participantes) y alto con 23,5% (24 participantes).
